Joshua Dorfman
President
Joshua Dorfman is President of American Wire Group (AWG), where he works closely with customers and helps guide the company’s strategic direction across the renewable energy, power utility, data center, and industrial markets.
A second-generation owner of AWG, Josh brings more than 22 years of experience across the business, having held leadership roles in operations, renewable energy, sales, and marketing. Throughout his career, he has developed extensive expertise in power system wire and cable design, manufacturing, and applications, as well as the engineering, project management, and supply chain requirements behind large scale energy infrastructure projects.
Since 2008, Josh has supported more than 750 MW annually in utility scale solar and wind generation projects. His customer focused approach has helped AWG develop solutions that reduce project risk, control costs, and support demanding construction schedules. Through this work, Josh has built longstanding relationships with EPCs, contractors, developers, and utilities while establishing himself as an industry leader focused on strengthening and expanding the infrastructure needed to meet evolving energy demands.
